Reserving a Site
Call toll-free 888-PA-PARKS, Mon. to Sat. 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except for state holidays; however it is open Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day) to reserve a campsite, cabin, organized group tenting area or picnic pavilion.
Reservations may be made from two days up to 11 months in advance. Campsite reservations may be made up to noon of the day of arrival – check at the contact station or near the campground entrance for a list of open sites.
Reservations can be made using MasterCard, VISA and Discover credit cards or personal, traveler’s and cashier’s checks. To confirm the reservation, full payment must be recieved within two weeks of making the reservation.
Cancellation
There is a $10 service fee for any cancellations requested over seven days prior to the scheduled arrival date. There is a service fee of one night’s fee or the daily charge for any cancellations seven days or less in advance. Cancellations by the Call Center have to be done prior to arrival. If you arrive at the campground and must cancel, or leave early, you will receive a refund for the unused portion of your camping fee.
Transfers
To change or transfer a reservation prior to your arrival, please call the Call Center at 888-PA-PARKS. There is a $10 service fee to any changes/transfers to an existing reservation.
Prices
The costs for a campsite vary depending on the day of the week and the length of the stay. The best prices are for weekday and week-long stays. For a full breakdown of camping prices and prices for all services offered by the Bureau of State Parks go to the Price Guide.
Discounts
People with a disability are eligible for a reduction in the base campsite fee. To receive an application for the Reduced Campsite Fee Card for People with Disabilities, please dcnr.pa.gov and print a copy of the application, or contact a park office or call 888-PA-PARKS.
Senior citizens, 62 years of age or older, can receive a discount on the fee at a Pennsylvania state park.
