COOK FOREST, Pa. — On Saturday, August 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Cook Forest State Park invites visitors to Snorkel the Clarion, a hands-on event focused on exploring the river’s aquatic life.
Participants will meet at the River Cabin playground before heading into the Clarion River to search for fish and aquatic insects using their own masks and snorkels.
This is a chance to observe river life up close in a natural setting. Park staff will guide participants to different access points along the river, so be prepared to carpool. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
