I have stayed at both the Pheasant Roost and The Nest and they are perfect. Pheasant Roost was great for a long weekend for 4 sisters and 2 nieces. Also stayed there several times with a group of 6 friends.p for the Gingerbread Tour. My husband and I have stayed at The Nest several times and were just there last weekend. The owners are very accommodating and quick to get back to you if you have any questions. The cabins are just a short drive away from Cook Forest so you can enjoy all the amenities but away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet, serene location. Highly recommend both cabins as they are very clean, well stocked the beds are comfortable.

My family has stayed at the Roost and the Nest many times over the last 10 years. Great cabins! Clean and well stocked. Bart and Vicky are great to work with.

We love staying here. It’s perfect for our family. We stay here once a year and everything is perfect! The outdoors area is so nice to walk around and explore. It’s set back down a long driveway and feels very authentic to the area. It’s an easy drive to stores and restaurants but feels very secluded. The owners are great people!

The Pheasant Roost doesn’t disappoint! It is a perfect, cozy little cabin in the most convenient spot! The scenery is beautiful at any time of year. This cabin/nest in the woods makes you never want to leave!
