COOK FOREST, Pa. — Step into the stories of Cook Forest with a guided walk through one of its most iconic landmarks. On Friday, August 29, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 p.m., DCNR Conservation Volunteer Greg Burns will lead an interpretive historical tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point.
Participants will learn about the area’s logging legacy, observe signs of Historic Native American presence, and take in breathtaking views from the top of the Fire Tower. Binoculars are recommended to fully appreciate the scenery and spot historical features along the way.
Whether you’re curious about local history, enjoy spending time outdoors, or want to see Cook Forest from a new perspective, this tour offers a meaningful way to connect with the landscape and its past.
