COOK FOREST, Pa. — On Saturday, August 30, from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., the Ridge Camp Park Amphitheater at Cook Forest State Park will come alive with the sounds of Pennsylvania’s wildest residents—and a few human imitators.
The park’s naturalist will lead a lively evening exploring the fascinating world of animal communication, from territorial howls to nighttime chirps.
Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and their best animal call impressions. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious about what the fox really says, this interactive program offers a fun and educational dive into how and why animals “talk.” Expect demonstrations, audience participation, and plenty of forest ambiance as dusk settles over the amphitheater.
