COOK FOREST, Pa. — Adventure meets history on August 8 as Cook Forest State Park hosts its Clarion River Boating Program, a full-day interpretive float from Spring Creek to Heath Pump Station.
This immersive experience offers a rare chance to explore one of Pennsylvania’s most scenic waterways while uncovering its rich industrial past.

- A guided float past historic remnants of the lumber and wood chemical industry at Hallton
- Views of Pine Rapid, once home to one of the largest lumber mills on the Clarion
