COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) — Friends of Cook Forest, a chapter of the PA Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), will be hosting its 4th Annual Spooky Nights fundraiser on Friday, October 4, and Saturday, October 5.

Funds will be raised to replace the aging playground equipment at Ridge Campground.

In a nutshell, campers donate $5 or more to be entered into the “voting.” Voters donate $1 per vote.

Various activities will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4, and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5.

Some of the activities include a spooky maze at night, plus a kiddie maze without the spooks during the day, crafts, pumpkin carving, a bat program for the children, hayrides, prize distribution, and more!
