KNOX, Pa. (EYT) – ‘Tis the season … or will be soon enough. We are sure that you will find something special for everyone on Santa’s list at the Once Upon a Christmas event in Knox.
Here is a sneak preview of what you can expect at this year’s Once Upon a Christmas!
2019 Once Upon a Christmas in Knox
Friday, November 22: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 23: 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 24: Noon to 5:00 p.m.

A “Story Time Celebration” begins the event on Thursday, November 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Knox library for all ages.
Everyone is invited.
An Open House will also be happening at the library on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, during library hours with RADA cutlery, used books, and homemade cookies.
Then, Knox Borough and the Knox Borough Police together will kick off the holiday season with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bring the kids to the SMILES park on Friday, November 22. at 6:00 p.m. for Santa & Mrs. Claus to arrive and visit with the children. All are welcome.
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, begin your holiday shopping at the three Crafters’ locations at Wolf’s Den, Wentling Corners, and the Salem Community Building, plus four of Knox’s Business Open Houses.
Browse beautiful handmade gifts, crafts, wine tasting, candles, oil lamps, essential oils, lavender, and so much more.
On Friday, plan for lunch at the Edenburg Presbyterian Church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Buffet style lunch consists of soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and drink of your choice. Take-outs available. Corner of Main and Railroad Streets.

On Friday evening, November 22, join Mt. Joy United Methodist Church for a meal of scalloped potatoes and ham, corn bread, and homemade pie from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.! Take-outs available. They also have nut-rolls, apricot-rolls, RADA cutlery, and crafts on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, November 23, you can continue your shopping. Be sure to save enough time for a lunch at the Knox United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The youth group will be serving chicken and biscuits.

The Knox Volunteer Fire Company will be serving stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dinner roll, and dessert from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening on November 23 at 514 Railroad Street.
Deer Creek Winery will also be giving away a free night at the B & B (you must fill out the form found in our flier to be eligible.)
