COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – The owners of Trails End Restaurant are looking forward to a promising new year following their 20th year operating the popular local business.

Trails End is currently closed; however, the business will reopen on Friday, January 18, at 11:00 a.m.

Susie Irwin told exploreClarion.com, “Last year was a year of accomplishment and reflection for us as we celebrated our 20th Anniversary as the owners of Trails End. It was during 2018 that we decided we are not ready for retirement, as we love our business, our employees and our customers, many whom have become a second family to us.”

Susie said that she and Missie (McDonald) realized the great sacrifices of their families – “special moments missed, reunions, grandchildren visits, time with our parents, our children, our friends, worship services, and the list goes on.”

With this in mind, Susie and Missie have opted to be CLOSED on Sundays in 2019, excluding special events.

Trails End will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during their winter season beginning January 18.
