I can't think of a more beautiful place anywhere!! I love Cook Forest. Our family vacations there every summer. Peaceful and quiet. It is "medicine" for the soul. My husband counts the days every year until we come back again. I can't wait until July. See you all then, Sarah

Although most of my family no longer lives in Forest County any more after 4 generations, I love returning to Cook's Forest and its environs. It's so quiet, peaceful, green, with crisp air; it harkens back to a simpler (but more manually challenging) time. I really appreciate those who post their photos of the flora and fauna.

I think of Cook Forest every day.We have been coming to Cook Forest for 14 years. We stay at Macbeths Cabins. The folks there are like family.Fall is the best time to visit. We enjoy the simplest things while we visit.Walking to the store,or along River Road,Carving pumpkins and being warmed by a nice fire while we play games in our cozy cabin. If only the whole year could be that way.We also miss the Webcam.

We just returned from another vacation to Cook Forest...this time for our Ninth Wedding Anniversary; our first trip was on our Honeymoon! Cook Forest has become a haven for us; a place of peace and beauty to renew ourselves before returning to the hustle and bustle and stress of the "real world."

I'll never forget my boyhood days while visiting this park. We had some very memorable picnics there as a child and some also later. I was born and raised in Clarion County, Pa. I remember the fire tower there at Cook Forest, possibly it is gone now. I am a Texan now, have been for over 50 years and we have some nice parks down here also. Thankyou.

My favorite place to be is Cook Forest. Our family started camping at Ridge Camp in the early 70's. I have stayed at Gateway Lodge and MacBeths. Canoeing on the Clarion can't be topped as far as I am concerned. I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

I am a former PA resident now living in South Carolina. I miss our annual camping trips to Cook Forest. I have seen a more beautiful spot. I miss the Web Cam.

Sorry about the image verification now required to post to the guestbook. We were getting slammed with numerous bot submissions, so had to take preventive measures.
