  2010 Snowman in the Forest Day

February 20, 2010 - 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

Build a snowman in any designated sponsor's location in the Cook Forest/Clear Creek area, beginning with the first snowfall of the season, and ending with the last snowfall in February. Have that sponsor take a picture of you and your snowman, and it will be entered in the contest and displayed on the web site at www.cookforest.org.

Activities and events:

11:30 am   Chili Cook Off
    Guided hike with the old growth forest o Cook Trail. Bring your snowshoes if you have them, but not required.
11:30 am - 2:30 pm   Reindeer wagon rides
Ice Skating - bring your skates
Sledding
Snowman Building
Meet Woodsy Owl and Smokey Bear
Campfire with free hot chocolate, coffee, and chili
1:00 pm - 2:15 pm   Guided hike within the old growth on Cook Trail
