SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Deer Creek Winery, Inn B&B, and event center is celebrating 10 years in business.

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years, but then again, when I think about it, we’ve come a long way in those years and have sold a lot of wine to great people!” said Rhonda Brooks, owner of Deer Creek Winery.

The family owned and operated winery opened in 2009. They first specialized in raspberry wines made with fruit that had grown on their 100-acre farm.

“Overall we’ve probably produced 200 thousand gallons of wine which translates into 1 million bottles!” Brooks said.

The Inn B&B, which is attached to the Main Winery, opened in the Fall of 2016 and features eight private guest rooms that are uniquely decorated with a wide variety of amenities. This addition also included a banquet facility where they hold weekly live music sets in the winter. The space can also be rented for special parties and events.

“We feel it’s very important to relax and rejuvenate and that’s what we strive to do here at our main winery and Inn B&B here in Shippenville,” Brooks said.

In addition to their Shippenville winery, Inn B&B, and event center — Deer Creek has five outlet locations spanning Western Pennsylvania. Their wines are also served in a variety of supermarkets and restaurants throughout the state.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Deer Creek Winery will release 10 exclusive, collectible wines throughout 2019. The first wine in the special collection series, Raspberry Celebration, was released in mid-March to an eager crowd of wine lovers.

During Sept. 20-22, the Shippenville winery will be hosting a celebratory event filled with food, games, prizes, and more. Be sure to save the date and stop by to taste delicious wines and enjoy the beautiful grounds.
